Russia is going to allocate a $270 million worth government loan to Armenia finance the development of the Metsamor-based Nuclear Power Plant.
The money will be directed to the prolongation of the timeframes of the plant’s operation, Gazeta.ru reports citing the Russian Government.
The website notes that the two countries had earlier signed an inter-governmental agreement to extend the second energy bloc’s operation until September, 2016.
