Armenian Chess Players in Al Ain

All the eight Armenian chess players took victories in the seventh round of the open in Al Ain, UAE.

GM Tigran L. Petrosian has scored 5,5 points after seven rounds and is only half a point behind the leader - GM Gaioz Nigalidze (Georgia).

GMs Levon Babujian and Arman Pashikian each have 5, GMs Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, Hovik Hayrapetyan and IM Manuel Petrosyan each - 4,5, WGM Maria Kursova - 4, WGM Lilit Galojan – 3,5 points.

Today in the central game of the penultimate eighth round Tigran L. Petrosian will play with whites against the leader - Gaioz Nigalidze.
